So, taking an annual tour, we started with the big party, the patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary, which are celebrated on October 7.

During a little more than two weeks the party occupies a main place in the life of the inhabitants of this town: verbenas, election of queens and queens, musical parades, parades with floats and charangas, parade of Moors and Christians, games and activities for children , Dawn, tape race, party proclamation.

The culmination of these holidays is the celebration on October 8 of the “Day of the Morera”, fun parade with charanga and disguises that has its origin in a neighborhood of the town, in “Las Casas Baratas”, and that usually ends With a “Sardinada” for all the neighbors of the municipality.

At the same time, these festivities are celebrated in various religious events that have become part of the tradition: “La Despierta”, which takes place in the early hours of dawn, from September 25 to October 4 , Called “El Zapatero”, the Procession on the day of the Virgin, the offering of flowers …
