The Minister of Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development, Elena Cebrián visited this morning the City Council of Rafal. During his tour of the Consistory has been accompanied by the director of Environmental Quality and Climate Change, Joan Piquer, the mayor of the municipality, Manuel Pineda and the rest of the municipal corporation. In the meeting they have addressed some issues related to the Environment and waste management in the region, as well as different aspects of the municipality. In addition, the situation regarding recycling in the Vega Baja has also been analyzed.

Finally, Cebrián has signed in the book of honors of Rafal and has received the traditional “Graná”, as a souvenir of his visit. The mayor, Manuel Pineda, thanked the councilor for his passage through the municipality and said that “the region is moving forward on waste and Environment and the goal is to continue improving the quality of life of our citizens.”

After passing through the town hall, they have moved to the dump of La Murada to make a tour of its facilities.
